They shouldn’t be unknown to anyone. But things never are like they should. Family, a project containing the best pop Spanish music could ever conceive. Their previous project, El joven Lagarto, recorded a couple of demos that became a cult at one moment’s advise. Just a few shows (one of them, with a conceptually parallel band, Le mans) that delighted the privileged who were at them.
A kind of music that, up to now, had not any representatives here, but getting now through Family the consistency it deserves. Electronic music surrounded by pop bubbles with elegant and delicate scents. Honest and simple music. Music that touches for it childish discernment, for its morbid absence of pretensions.
“Un Soplo En El Corazon” is the first album by Family, a gadget playing with a lot of different pieces, a party decorated with clear sounds like blue water, minimalist like desperate kisses, candid like a thousand everlasting smiles. Programmed sounds, electronic, several caressed guitars and a voice whispering contagious words. Songs that get explosions of the heart: “La Noche Inventada”, “Como Un Aviador”, “Viaje A Los Sueños Polares”, and a long etc.
A delicious band wandering through kaleidoscopic tecno-pop landscapes, a general view spelling and hooking, seducing and inspiring love.
Pop has got a future. Can’t you see it?
