LA CASA AZUL "No Hay Futuro" Digital Single
This is a new trademark hit destined to lift spirits on the dance floor and in big festivals. That keyboard that seems to take us to sixties psychedelia (THE ZOMBIES!), the choruses, the clavinet that shoots us into the seventies, and then suddenly the bass drum kicks in and takes us to italo and disco music, and we can’t stop. And then we hear those vocoders, the BEACH BOYS start to come in, Moroder and Cerrone wait with a drink at the bar, Donna Summer is in the middle of the dance floor and Barbarella is about to arrive. The party begins, an apogee that never ends. The thousands of arrangements, the details, the horror vacui is an endless journey, a promise that we will never get bored, that each second is different. And you can’t believe what they say, you just can’t believe it, you don’t believe that there is no future, because he himself is laying it out, we could stay and live inside his songs.

It’s a dream come true. A song straight from the minds of Soleá Morente and Guille Milkyway working together. Two of our brightest stars. And it also means getting into unexplored territory for both of them. Because what if we told you that they dove head first into writing an absolutely irresistible cumbia? And that the song begins like a heartbreaking melodic Italian song with Spanish roots, like a duet between Raphael and Rocío Jurado at the height of the sixties? And that the chorus takes you to a rumba from LOS AMAYA? And, of course, that it has some flamenco in it too (Soleá’s touch). And sure, it has a certain electronic dance spirit (Guille’s touch). And that the arrangements are just prodigious. And that each second is more surprising and exciting.
Soleá and Guille meet. They look into each other’s eyes. Yes, they have both just been the victims of their separate heartbreaks, and they find in each other the echo of their need to sing their sorrows at the top of their lungs. LAS NEGRIS get the party started with their palmas (traditional flamenco clapping) to this great production and composition from Guille. LA CASA AZUL "Prometo No Olvidar" Single
“Prometo No Olvidar” is another example of his unfailing aim, like a 100.000-piece puzzle full of small details that makes something difficult seem easy. A perfect chorus, explosions of energy (like that cover illustration), DAFT PUNK, Cerrone and THE WEEKND, endless nights, vocoders and autotune.
