2005

NOSOTRÄSH have recently finished the recording of their eagerly awaited fourth album, “Cierra la puerta al salir” (to be released this next spring). Ibon Errazkin’s collaboration in the previous album and single give way on this new one to production work by Pedro Vigil (a skilled musician from their hometown Gijón, former member of PENELOPE TRIP and leader of EDWIN MOSES and VIGIL). The album has been recorded in Gijón, at a slow path, but only to guarantee the perfect outcome they have finally achieved.

The opening track, “Dando vueltas”, is chosen to do the first videoclip from the new album: simple footage featuring the four girls playing in a studio. It’s been directed by Juan Ugarriza, a young director who has also filmed other videoclips for Spanish indie bands TACHENKO or GARZÓN (Malela’s new band), as well as two short films (“Imprevistos”, from 2001, and “La piscina”, from 2004) and other works on tv and commercials.

On May 28th they premiere the record live at the Intersecciones Festival in their native Asturias.

During the summer they get ready for the nationwide tour where they will play “Cierra la puerta al salir”, with a new live line-up; Malela, former member of the band (currently playing bass in GARZON and creative force behind LE MOT), rejoins the band along with Mar Álvarez, founder member of PAULINE EN LA PLAYA and in the past guitar player in fellow Gijon all girl band UNDERSHAKERS, and Xabel Vegas, member of MANTA RAY and frontman with his own band LAS UVAS DE LA IRA. These will be the first shows by NOSOTRÄSH without Montse, founder member of the band who has decided to spend all her energies in her new projects: her work for the new independent label Lloriadiscos and getting ready her new solo album.

Mexican label Molecula Records released by the end of June “Cierra la puerta al salir”, featuring the same number of songs as its Spanish release, but adding up to four videoclips (“Dando vueltas”, “Gloria”, “Arte” and “Maldito espejo”). This Mexican release featured also additional tracks with pictures of the band, cover artwork of all their records and the band’s biography.

After the excellent outcome of their video "Dando vueltas", NOSOTRÄSH work again with film director Juan Ugarriza on the second videoclip taken from "Cierra la puerta al salir". The song they have chosen for this new video is "Completamente sola", and the images they filmed to set it to images are the most beautiful postcards to illustrate with a melancholic beauty the feelings behind many of the songs in the album: the members of the band come out alone -completely alone, "completamente solas"- at their homes, preparing some tea or some coffee, reading, playing guitar or sharing their solitude with other lonely souls over the internet.
The video has been shot in their hometown, Gijón, and as the song goes by they stop being alone: they meet the others at the Librería Paradiso in Gijón, one of those magical places where one can get lost in a world of wonderful books and records (they choose a Nabokov paperback; they look over the cover of a record by Serge Gainsbourg: solitude is more easily bearable with a good book and a good record).

On October 24th, NOSOTRÄSH visited Madrid to record some live songs for several TV shows. Among others, NOSOTRÄSH presented their new live line-up playing several songs with the full electric line-up for the MTV show "Fiber", for which they also recorded an interview. The songs they played on MTV were "Dando vueltas", "Completamente sola" and "Puta conciencia".
Besides of this, the band played some acoustic tracks and answered an interview for another nationwide TV show, "Miradas 2", broadcasted daily on TVE's second channel.

In October they play instore acoustic shows at the FNAC stores in Madrid and Asturias. During December, January and February they tour the country with the new live line-up.

2006

On January 13th they record the TV show Los Conciertos de Radio 3 (being the third time the band plays for this TV show).

"Cierra la puerta al salir" is chosen among the best album from 2005 according to Spanish magazine Mondosonoro, and also in the best of 2005 polls from radio show "Los 39 sonidos", directed by Juan Vitoria.
The song "Funambulista" (taken from "Cierra la puerta al salir") is chosen among the best songs from 2005 by the readers' of Rockdelux magazine, and it is featured on the CD compilation released by the mag.

A new label from New York, Hugpatch Records, released as one of its first references an exclusive 7" vinyl single by NOSOTRÄSH, limited to 500 copies.
This single, with cover artwork by Pedro Balmaseda, features four tracks. Two of them ("Pez globo" and "Visita") are taken from "Cierra la puerta al salir", and produced by Pedro Vigil and Xel Pereda. The other two songs are taken from the "Popemas" sessions and produced by Ibon Errazkin: "Tanga" had already appeared on the Elefant compilation "Momentos perdidos", and "Sólo soy una persona" is a previously unreleased cover version of an original song by Spanish 80's synth-pop band MECANO.
