While Giorgio Tuma prepares his new album, with his songs full of psychedelic fantasy, jazzy elegance, and pop melodies that will definitely get us all riled up again, our beloved Italian composer and producer has made a quick stop along the road in order to make this wonderful gift for his fans. The digital single will be released for free and will be called “Anna, My Dear”, and it will feature Laetitia Sadier’s very first vocal collaboration with Giorgio Tuma. The song is exciting and dreamy, and allows Laetitia to show her silkiest side, always with that delicate halo of mystery. The song nestles into one of the most beautiful string arrangements we’ve heard in a long time.
To give this incredible gift even more kick, it also comes with a tremendous animated video, somewhere between the imagination and lyricism, and it’s astonishingly beautiful. Michele De Candia was in charge of the artwork, which is full of charcoal drawings and blurry stars that evoke that dreamy world that makes you feel like you’re falling in love, which is the feeling the song pays homage to, as Giorgio Tuma and Alice Rossi’s lyrics so perfectly reflect. The whole thing is impeccably wrapped under a beautiful cover designed by Noemi De Feo, a young Italian artist and lover of all things artisanal, all things carefully hand-made, and vintage styles. All the aspects and details of this gem have clearly been handled with great care: vocals, music, strings, lyrics, video, and cover art. Giorgio Tuma’s fans will thoroughly enjoy all its brilliance. May we always have “Anna, My Dear”, and that way of describing the feeling of love with music.
