Staying with Elefant records, I have to admit that I’m slyly smitten by this ‘un from the Yearning regardless of the fact and maybe its just me but this has been nagging me each and every time I hear it, but does it sound to you like as though they’ve pretty much housed their own song on top of Rialto’s ‘Monday Morning 5.15’ and then given it a breezy 60’s styled Francophile lightness that’s much reminiscent a la France Gall channeling as were, Nancy Sinatra backed by Bacharach conducting a full on lounge pop band. Anyway whatever the case admirers of St Etienne et al will swoon.
