Video Jam of the Day: Giorgio Tuma - Let’s Make the Stevens Cake!!!

Spanish label Elefant has a stable of wonderful Spanish bands (as we’ve documented recently) but they also have a couple nice Italian groups too. We put Fitness Forever in the Hot Damn Jamz a couple weeks ago, today we put the sunny spotlight on Giorgio Tuma and his backing band Os Tumantes. Their new record, My Vocalese Fun Fair, is a delightful mash-up of every kind of light and breezy pop you can imagine. Bossa Nova, space age b-pad music, A&M MOR, sunshine pop, waiting room funk, cocktail jazz, indie pop….it’s all in there, gently whipped into a frothy beverage perfectly suited for dreams of summertime. The group made a video for “Let’s Make the Stevens Cake!!!” - let’s hold hands and watch it together…
