LIGHTNING IN A TWILIGHT HOUR "Every Flame A Sunset (Single Version)"

Jointly inspired by a 1985 candlelit vigil in London and by Derek Jarman hearing names whispered in the Dungeness waves, “Every Flame a Sunset” is a memorial to a lost generation and a reminder of the pain and loss suffered by both those who survived and those who did not. The themes and reflections of the 2022 BBC documentary “AIDS: The Unheard Tapes” provide further inspiration for this song about the devastating epidemic.
Taken from the 2025 album “Colours Yet To Be Named”, this single has been edited and remixed and is accompanied by a new track, “Ghost Pavilion Dub”, a minimal mood piece recorded during the album sessions.
Produced by Ian Catt in association with LIGHTNING IN A TWILIGHT HOUR, this record is released as a limited-edition 12-inch white vinyl Maxi-Single (200 copies), featuring a cover photo by Beth Arzy and design by Luis Calvo (Elefant Design), as well as in digital format.
