MARINITA PRECARIA "La Nieve" Single Digital

Creative processes are truly amazing. That’s why MARINITA PRECARIA is opening a new chapter with the collaboration of different producers, and the first release comes with Christophe Vaillant. Yes, the mastermind behind LE SUPERHOMARD and the marvelous “Meadow Lane Park” (Elefant, 2019), who later joined Maxwell Farrington to release two albums and several singles that brought the band widespread recognition in France. Christophe has also collaborated with and co-written songs for Paul Weller on the last two albums by the former leader of THE JAM, and has remixed tracks for THE MOONS, BADLY DRAWN BOY, THE SPITFIRES, and many more.
Christophe has gone all out for Marina’s new songs, recording keyboards, guitars, bass, and a variety of other instruments. On drums, none other than Loic Maurin (M83), and on backing vocals, Lorene Murzilli (LE SUPERHOMARD). The result is the EP “Conmovedor”, where Christophe’s production wonderfully enhances the elegant yet endearing melancholy of MARINITA PRECARIA, imbuing it with unprecedented strength. And here’s a first preview: “La Nieve”.
This song opens with a clavichord before bursting forth with tremolos, synthesizers, and cosmic arpeggios. A perfect metaphor for a luminous song that embraces and stirs the listener, showcasing a Marina who is energetic, powerful, poetic as ever, yet more direct than ever before.
A little preview of the surprising and wonderful results of MARINITA PRECARIA’s new EP, which will be out in full very soon.
