There is a lot of fresh news for fans of AEROLINEAS FEDERALES, one of the biggest Spanish pop groups from the eighties, who released five fantastic albums between 1986 and 1991. After the insistence of their Peruvian fans, AEROLÍNEAS FEDERALES got together last spring to play two really successful concerts in Lima. Now we have the pleasure of announcing that this reunion tour is going to continue, with the band’s original line-up, for a few more shows.  The original line-up consists of Miguel Costas (who is also a founding member of SINIESTRO TOTAL), Luis Santamarina and Silvino Díaz, as well as Rosa Costas and Coral Blázquez, otherwise known as “the Aerolinettes”, who, although they weren’t with the group in the very beginning, have formed a part of the group since before they recorded their first album, and are a part of the most famous and stable line-up of the band. The authors of “No Me Beses En Los Labios” will get back on stage to play some of their greatest hits like, “Soy Una Punk”, “No Se Ligar”, “Oh, Que Pena Me Das”, “Largate” and “Hop Hop”. So far they have confirmed a concert for this coming November 5th in the Razzmatazz club in Barcelona, as a part of the series of concerts that celebrate the well-known club’s anniversary, and more concerts are foreseen throughout 2012.

The other big news for the group’s fans and followers is the imminent release – at the beginning of 2012 - of an album of AEROLÍNEAS FEDERALES’ demos, with a ton of previously unreleased songs, from their first recordings in 1983 through their final demos of what was going to be the group’s sixth album. These songs will make up “Hasta El Final Y Más Allá… demos 1983-1993”, and this album will inaugurate a new Elefant Records Collection, “Recuerdos Que Olvidé” (Memories I Forgot). This new collection is dedicated to recovering demos, live performances and previously unreleased material from the Spanish songwriters and bands we like the most. And so, this first release, which will come out in CD and double 10” vinyl format, together with the news of their reunion, puts the band from Vigo back in the spotlight of current music news. Without a doubt, this is important news in the history of Spanish pop.
