PIPIOLAS (Feat. RIGOBERTA BANDINI) "La Niña Bonita" Single and Video
This beautiful story begins on November 19, 2022. In the bullring arena in Murcia. PIPIOLAS and Rigoberta Bandini share a stage. They are nervous. They admire the author of “Ay Mamá”, “Canciones de Amor a Ti” and so many others. It is a magical night. They meet, they become mutual fans. An online friendship begins.
Fast forward to today. This friendship grows, feeds on itself, and finally, gives musical fruit. “La Niña Bonita” is a collaboration, a space of perfect juxtaposition between two artistic universes that understand each other perfectly. The story of a girl who feels sad and undeserving of love. A tour de force to the beat of electronic pop with lines that will definitely be screamed endlessly at concerts: “Dice que tiene pena / Que no vale la pena / Que ya no es quien era / Y yo no quiero esta suerte de mierda” (She says she’s sad / That it’s not worth it / That she isn’t who she used to be / And I don’t want that shitty luck). Because “La Niña Bonita” brings together with incredible skill the delicacy and heartbreaking spirit of a woman whose dreams are broken and who has the strength of those who wanted to teach her that love should never hurt.
An event like this needs a music video worthy of its stature. Raquel Calvo makes it clear once again that her exercises in animation are absolutely marvelous, and she takes children’s drawing into the blue world of the beautiful girl (the name of the song in Spanish). And Paula, Adriana and Rigoberta dive right into this world to help the girl, to accompany her and help her be happy. The cover for the single is also by Raquel and is a free interpretation of the scene from "Bande À Part" when the three stars run through the Louvre holding hands; a scene later revived by Bertolucci in "The Dreamers".
Take the beautiful girl’s hand. You will find PIPIOLAS and Rigoberta Bandini, and the power of music to make you feel like you will never be alone again.

PIPIOLAS (Feat. KIKO VENENO) "Llorarme" Single Digital
“Llorarme” is a rhythm and blues song that would make Dusty Springfield and Lorraine Ellison jealous, with a XXI century production from Vau Boy and with Kiko Venenoin the mix, giving the song his spicy, delicious touch with his voice and his guitars. Yes, the man who wrote “Volando Voy” and who recorded “Veneno” with the Amador brothers. You cannot imagine what “Llorarme” sounds like. It’s incredible. Those melodies that are right on the surface are so exciting, and that “ssshhhh”. The special chemistry of this unimaginable cocktail is through the roof and takes us to places we’ve never been before. In the meantime, Adriana and Paula continue stage-hopping all over Spain with their total artistic spirit and their overflowing vitality. Just imagining the path that lies ahead for them is dizzying.

PIPIOLAS "No Tocar" Single and Video-Clip
the new single from PIPIOLAS, takes things even further. Another hit, another bold, fearless, high-energy track. Produced with Vau Boy and mastered by Xavier Alarcón.
And if before they were singing, dancing, acting, and composing, now they’ve added yet another layer to the mix. Pauladirected the music video herself, shot entirely inside Madrid’s Museum of Romanticism. The video tells the story of two romantic women who get lost in romanticism until they become part of a museum where nothing can be touched. “It’s a trip back to the 80s, with the irreverent spirit of the divas of that era, to say: don’t touch us, don’t stare at us, but listen to us”. For the shoot they teamed up with Joel Burgès as director of photography—a photographer who started out taking pics in his music bar and is now working with artists like Amaia, MORAD, DELLAFUENTE, and Bad Gyal, plus shooting campaigns for Nike, Damm, Reebok, Zara, or Mango.

PIPIOLAS "soy una estrella!!!" Single Digital
The satire of how the art industry works, so often disconnected from talent and far more focused on economic performance, has allowed Paula and Adriana to show all this in one song. With plenty of humor and not a small dose of cynicism, they musically recall the best synthpop of the early 80s (THE HUMAN LEAGUE, MECANO, BANANARAMA) and take the opportunity to pay tribute to Italo disco in general and RICCHI E POVERI's “Sarà Perché Ti Amo” in particular. The result? Another hit, of course. Dancing while thinking is still dancing. And also fighting and getting excited too.

PIPIOLAS "NaNaNa" Single Digital
“NaNaNa” is an exercise in synth-pop in the purest 80s style, with programmed basslines, dark and mysterious verses, and bright, ultra-catchy choruses. What's more, the slightly macabre tone of the lyrics makes their new success something like a cemetery paradox written for a bold, first-era Madonna.

PIPIOLAS "Pipiolas" Album
“Pipiolas” is the result of a break during which we had to answer who we are and whether we still have anything more to say. This album is the answer. From a more adult place, we accept the distortion that maturity entails. We chose as our language the sound that accompanied us when uncertainty was still wild and fun; we take responsibility for ourselves and decide, with all of this, to stay: to keep writing lyrics, to keep making music even when things suddenly become completely serious. We are no longer pipiolas, but we will always be free as long as we remember ourselves that way.
The album opens with a cover version of the Broadway classic “My Favorite Things”, which speaks of finding joy and comfort in those favorite things that help us overcome sadness or difficult moments. But all this grounding has not diminished the freshness of his melodies in the slightest. A mix of MECANO, Italo disco, Madonna, CHAPELL ROAN, Europop, and BANANARAMA, with production by Vau Boy and mastering by Xavier Alarcón, PIPIOLAS continue to remind us of the importance of dance as liberation, as exorcism, as emotional expression, and they maintain a cheeky, irreverent pop spirit. They capture the energy of their live format, but focused on concision thanks to arrangements that polish melodies as forceful as those of “soy una estrella!!!”, “No Tocar”, “Ahora que…” or “Poemas”. And they raise the emotional voltage when the moment calls for it, as happens in “ay, querida”, “Mi Amiga” and “Menores”.
