1992-1994

HONEY LANGSTRUMPF is formed in November 1992 in Palma de Mallorca. After playing as a five piece (three guitars!) the band records its first demo tape in 1993 with a four piece line-up. That demo tape would place HONEY LANSGTRUMPF (then simply HONEY) among the first ranks of the Rock de Luxe Battle of the Bands demo contest.. plus a very good review in Spiral magazine.

In August 1993 the band enters in VALENDAS’ Toni Noguera Studios in Majorca to record an EP called “Perverse Gift”, for Elefant Records. They play some gigs in Spain to promote the single, including a show in Villa de Bilbao rock contest.

1995

The first and only album would come out in 1995, and it would be followed some months later by a single -“Stoned joy”- with two non-album tracks. One of these two songs -”Committed”- was used to shoot the only video clip made for the band. In 1995 the second guitarist leaves the band, and HONEY LANGSTRUMPF remains as a three piece. They play in the first two editions of Benicassim Festival. The second year, in the openng party with FLOW and Uk band CATATONIA.

1996
The last recording comes in 1996: a CD-Single with five songs (“Cloverleaves”). Three new tracks plus the two ones in “Stoned joy”.
