FLOW was formed back in August 1992 when three of its former members met in London. They were Manolo Espinosa (drums), Fernando Vacas (guitar and vocals) and Antonio Miranda (bass). In May of the next year, Juano Belmonte would come in as second guitarist. The recording of their first live concert ever served as their first demo tape, and this way they begin to draw some attention in the specialized circuit, getting to the top 1 in the demo list of "Disco Grande" (RNE 3). Their debut EP (“Bitter Candies In Seven Inches”), was released in January 1994 via Elefant Records, and from that moment on they began to play festivals and contests, with very good results.

In June 1994, Antonio quits the band to go to Sweden with an investigation grant of the Department of Biology of the Stockholm university (who said there was no brain flight anymore?) and his place is taken by Jose Angel Ruiz (all of a director in the Music Conservatory of Andújar: he plays piano, guitar and bass). With the new line-up, the band personalizes their sound and songs, so the decide to record their first LP “Headquake” in Granada. This record, which in CD format it came with a candy (only the first copies, you sweet-junkies), showed how much they have to say, and convinced the media, all of which are really fond on the band since then.

After a period of inactivity, 1996 sees the band playing all throughout the country, at the same time they have a new CD-single, “Fuengirola”, by the same time they played the II Festival Internacional de Benicàssim. “The shortest record of this summer”, as they called it (eleven tracks in thirteen minutes!), was received with joy both by their impatient public and by the media, impressed by their lack of prejudices and good fun music.

Subsequently FLOW would move to Acuarela, bringing some color, freshness and good humour to the gloomy label from Madrid.
