“Hello, we are PIPIOLAS and these are our profiles”. A satire about what the industry turns actresses who are trying to fulfill their dreams into. I am good, I am brilliant, I am worthy, but if no one chooses us, then we are nothing.
With this forcefulness, PIPIOLAS define the concept of their new single. “Actúo, canto y pinto” (I act, I sing, and I paint), they say in a moment of “soy una estrella!!!”, a song that will be part of their upcoming album for 2026. And they dance. And they compose. And they write. The total artist, the person who grows up with the clear idea that the stage is their natural ecosystem. The satire of how the art industry works, so often disconnected from talent and far more focused on economic performance, has allowed Paula and Adriana to show all this in one song. With plenty of humor and not a small dose of cynicism, they musically recall the best synthpop of the early 80s (THE HUMAN LEAGUE, MECANO, BANANARAMA) and take the opportunity to pay tribute to Italo disco in general and RICCHI E POVERI's “Sarà Perché Ti Amo” in particular.
