Digital single whose main star is that “Yo soy como Portugal” that we already heard on their debut album, “La mejor enfermedad”, and whose fantastic video, directed by Llaüt Digital, was launched just a few short weeks ago. The video shows Belén walking through a series of fun, but at the same time terrifying, misfortunes.
This new release incluyes a version of “Yo no soy esa” by Mari Trini, on which, with their usual dose of humor (that game of confrontations with the single’s title), but at the same time full of intensity and daring, they take on a total revisioning of the Spanish classic from ’72, with those distorted guitars marking the rhythm. Another of the single’s great gifts is a previously unreleased track, “La casa de las chicas”, a song that moves from classic seventies disco to contemporary techno-pop with surprising ease and originality, leaving us with a sunny, lively song (one of BLA’s strongest qualities) that is both danceable and full of precious melodies. To wrap things up, a remix of “Yo soy como Portugal”, on which their beloved ukulele is the full star.
