Their second album demonstrates a solid maturity. “Nuevo Futuro” shines with the fantastic production of Ibon Errazkin, who is responsible for other classic albums on the Elefant label like NOSOTRÄSH’s “Popemas”, Carlos Berlanga’s “Impermeable”, ANA D’s “Satelite 99” or the albums of SINGLE and LE MANS. Additionally, there are stellar collaborations from Teresa Iturrioz (SINGLE) and Malela Durán (NOSOTRÄSH, GRANDE-MARLASKA) on the choruses, or Rafael Guillermo of POP TOPS on the piano. Errazkin achieves a jeweled masterpiece with varied and distinct sounds and original textures, looking for spaces to make the songs special with details and extraordinary arrangements. But the best thing about the album are the twelve superb songs. The compositions are outside the limits of any one style, they are full of elegance and good taste – delicious pop with charming harmonies that could sound like standard light music with someone else’s voice. It’s all feeling, with beautiful and sincere lyrics. CORAZÓN dares to make classic melodic pop, bolero-pop and sentimental melodrama; they reinvent the artistic spirit of VAINICA DOBLE with their own originality and baroque arrangements and give us radiant soul-pop hymns worthy of LA CASA AZUL. It’s an album that will go down in history as one of the great classics of Elefant records.

CORAZÓN is Carlos (vocals) and Nando (vocals, guitar and electronic beats), a romantic pop couple that, before they even had a record out, had already a ton of faithful fans. After the fuss caused by their arrival into the Spanish independent scene, at least we can introduce you to "Melodrama", the debut album by CORAZÓN, which shows a surprisingly mature sound for such young artists, and plenty references which make you think of an immaculate good taste: VAINICA DOBLE, SOLERA or José y Manuel, if we talk about Spanish music; Françoise Hardy, LADY AND BIRD, KINGS OF CONVENIENCE, Simon & Garfunkel or Nilsson, on the international side.
Eleven songs that have been eagerly waited for by many of us, among which we find their early hits in the Spanish indie scene as their hymn “No quiero cambiar”. Recorded in Valencia with top producer Dani Cardona, the album shows the support and help of many of the best Spanish pop acts, such as SERPENTINA, PARADE, LA CASA AZUL, LOS MAGNETICOS, Sir Edward, etc... The first seconds of the album start with the sound of a transistor radio looking for a station; of course, it stops when it finds "Radio Corazón (102.5 FM)". By the time the moog solo arrives, you are aware that the record has started with its first wonderful tune. How we wish many other radio stations elsewhere had this wonderful taste!

To celebrate the holidays, we have finally made our long-awaited wish come true by creating a festive holiday Single to give away to our mates!

With this single we would like to give thanks to everyone who has helped us througout the years, especially fans of the label, without their help none of this would be imposible. A special single with songs which will make us forget all the hard times and help us ring in the New Year with bells and whistles. This single will be freely given to anyone who purchases an Elefant order which exceeds 20 euros. For those of you who would like to have more copies to give as holiday gifts to friends and ring in the New Year, there is also the option to buy it at a reduced price.

Four songs from the latest signed Elefant artists. The most recent one, THE SCHOOL, a project of 8 restless musicians from Cardiff which put out their first song precisely on this single. Last September, they packed their bags and moved off to London to record, under the guidance of Ian Catt, seven delicious songs which will be put out in two singles at the beginning of the year, a sweet and exquisite carol with a very 50’s holiday pop feel to it. Caitlin and Sauna [they are only 6 years old!], our kids HELEN LOVE show their adoration of Joey Ramone is more alive than ever and continues throughout the generations, they create a snowman out of Joey Ramone and this way, Santa Claus won’t have any problems finding them!! Absolutely adorable! CORAZÓN inspires us with their brilliant, sad and melancholic carol highlighted with rural folk strokes, providing an authentic flavour of Christmas. Carlos and Nando are placing the final touches to their new and highly anticipated album, an album  which includes the production of Ibon Errazkin, practically guaranteeing a classic spot in the Elefant catalogue. To culminate the single, Nicole and P, our friends from Hong Kong, wanted to celebrate the holidays in a special way; they always mention their friends in their songs, so it is of no surprise that the protagonists are the recently married Por and Mach to the happy Newlyweds!
