Cold fog

Pale danger

Paperclip key

Blood moves

Sweet witches

Sorcery

She watches

Secretly

Not daring to breathe

Needles and caves

On thin ice she skates

She picks at a lock

Knocks on the cross

Then slips away

Then slips away

Volcanoes

Wrong decisions

Scarecrow ink

The beating

Of black wings

Too many tall buildings

She watches

Secretly

Not daring to breathe

Needles and caves

On thin ice she skates

She waits to feel lost

Knocks on the cross

Then slips away

Then slips away

Do I have to return?

Do I have to resurface?

Now that I've learned

To be nothing?

Do I have to return

To the land of the living

Now that I've learned

How to give in?

I withdrew

Further and further

Into my own

Antarctica

Never a thought

For counting the cost

Where the sun never rose

Where the wind never dropped

I saw nothing wrong with

Feeling I did not exist

Had somehow disappeared

I don't know what to do

Now it seems

I can still be seen

A bed of snow

A bed of crystals

My very own

Antarctica
