She didn’t know his name

He was just someone she thought about

Would it be the same

If she had come to know him

Was it fantasy

Or did she really care

As she built him up

Only to tear him down

 

All of time seemed to pass him by

When he came to meet her eye

 

He always passed her by

But she never spoke to him

She was terrified

Easier to turn away

As the sun would rise

It just as easy fell
